Each IQOS ILUMA device is packed with next level technology to offer an easier and cleaner tobacco experience. Thanks to the new heating technology, there is no more blade breakage, no tobacco residue and no need for cleaning. IQOS ILUMA is designed to use with TEREA tobacco sticks only. 
IQOS ILUMA heats tobacco instead of burning it, which means no ash and no smoke. 

The SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ - next level tobacco technology 

Each device in the IQOS ILUMA series features the new SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™. Paired with the all-new TEREA tobacco stick designed specifically for IQOS ILUMA, these bladeless devices use a stainless-steel covered metal element inside the sealed TEREA to heat the tobacco from within. The SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ gives you stick-by-stick consistency without tobacco residue scattered into the holder, therefore no cleaning is necessary. IQOS ILUMA produces less smell during usage compared to previous generations of IQOS.* 
And - because there's no blade, unlike in older generations of IQOS heated tobacco devices - there are no more blade breakages.

TEREA tobacco sticks 

Designed exclusively for IQOS ILUMA devices, TEREA tobacco stick have been carefully designed with expertise and precision to a more consistent smoking sensation, with a sufficient amount of continuous, intense tobacco vapor. Each TEREA tobacco stick is sealed at both ends for easy insertion and removal. A sealed stick means no tobacco residue produced in the holder and no need to clean. Just remove and dispose the sticks when you're done.  

IQOS ILUMA devices are designed to be used with TEREA sticks only. Do not use IQOS ILUMA and/or TEREA with previous IQOS generations, as this may damage your device. Do not ingest or disassemble TEREA. This product contains a sharp metal part which can cause serious injury if swallowed. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
