Understanding the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME

The IQOS ILUMA i PRIME is an easy to use heated tobacco device. IQOS ILUMA i PRIME ensures that, in addition to the usual clear and undisturbed use, it provides even more flexible use with new intelligent features.

Like previous IQOS ILUMA devices, the new IQOS ILUMA i PRIME uses a SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ technology. This means no tobacco is burnt when using an IQOS ILUMA device. This technolgy result is a clean and simple use.

What Sets the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME Apart?

This device is our latest advancement in Heat Not Burn technology, with enhanced new features. It is specially designed to give you the most personalised usage compared to previous IQOS generations.

What are the New Features of the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME?

The IQOS ILUMA i PRIME has 4 new smart features: FlexPuff, Pause Mode, FlexBattery, and Touch Screen to make your experience seamless and enjoyable. 

Touch Screen

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME features a Touch Screen that allows you to quickly and easily see information about your usage for your convenience. Information displayed on the Touch Screen includes:

• The number of available uses.

• The pre-heating status.

• Pause Mode feature.

• FlexPuff feature.

What Do the Symbols on the Touch Screen Mean?

The Touch Screen displays a number of symbols that help you to understand your device. For example, 1 or 2 horizontal lines blinking 8 times indicates that the battery is discharged. 

Pause Mode

Pause Mode is an advanced feature that adds to the convenience of your IQOS ILUMA i PRIME by letting you pause your experience for up to 8 minutes and resume it.* This means that if you are interrupted, you can simply activate Pause Mode via the Touch Screen to avoid wasting your SMARTCORE STICKS™.

Some of the benefits of Pause Mode include:

• Heightened convenience.

• Extended flexibility by letting you enjoy your usage at a pace that suits you .

• No more wasted tobacco sticks.

* Only available in Performance Mode, during the first 3 minutes or 8 puffs of the usage. When pause is activated, Performance Mode gives adult users up to 2 consecutive use and pause is available only for 1 of them.

Use the Touch Screen to check the availability of Pause Mode.

Pause Mode lets you pause your usage for up to 8 minutes and resume it. In the event that the usage isn't re-activated within 8 minutes, the holder will auto-switch off.

When pause is activated, Performance Mode gives you up to two consecutive uses and pause is available only for one of the them.

FlexPuff

The FlexPuff feature adapts to your rhythm and personalizes the use, so you can get up to 4 extra puffs from the tobacco sticks within the up to 6 minutes of use.* FlexPuff automatically adapts to you based on your individual usage patterns, so you don't have to activate it. 

Some benefits of FlexPuff include:

• Flexible, personalized usage.

• Optimal stick usage and a longer stick duration.

*FlexPuff activation and number of puffs depend on individual usage patterns, thus extra puffs might not apply to all adult consumers and/or usage. FlexPuff does not activate when pause is used.

FlexBattery

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME also has a FlexBattery feature, so you can manage the holder battery. With FlexBattery, you can switch between 2 modes for the IQOS ILUMA Holder: Performance Mode (default) and Eco Mode. Each mode has its own unique advantages. 

• Performance Mode

Performance Mode is the default mode of your IQOS ILUMA i PRIME. With Performance Mode, you can have 2 uses of up to 6 minutes with one Pause Mode available. Or you can have 3 consecutive uses of up to 6 minutes each (with no Pause Mode available). 

• Eco Mode

Alternatively, you can switch your Battery Holder to Eco Mode via the IQOS app.

In this way, the life of the holder’s  battery can be extended by up to 1 year.* In this case, the holder’s  setting enables 1 heating, up to 6 minutes. Pause Mode is not available in Eco Mode.

* Only when fully used on Eco Mode throughout the lifespan of the holder and may vary depending on personal consumption.

Which Consumables Can Be Used With the New IQOS ILUMA i PRIME?

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME uses SMARTCORE STICKS™, such as TEREA, DELIA. When inserted into your IQOS ILUMA i PRIME, the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ heats the SMARTCORE STICKS™ from within to create your usage. Insertion and extraction are effortless and leave no tobacco residue behind, so you don't have to clean the heating chamber. We advise you not to use any other tobacco sticks with the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME as this may damage the device. 

Only SMARTCORE STICKS™ are compatible with IQOS devices and using other sticks with the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME may damage the device.

What Colours is the IQOS ILUMA i PRIME Available In?

IQOS ILUMA i PRIME comes in 4 colours: Breeze Blue, Aspen Green, Garnet Red and Midnight Black.

You can also choose from a variety of IQOS accessories including Wraps, Doors and Ring Sets to personalise your device’s appearance.

The device allows for easily swappable wraps in different materials and colours, including Premium Wraps, Leather Wraps, and Sensory Texture Wraps.
