The ban on the marketing of characteristic flavored heated tobacco products came into force in the European Union on November 23, 2022. At the same time, the Hungarian legislator enacted the new implementation rule for this ban on October 23, 2023, applying a transitional period for its enforcement.

Flavoured heated tobacco products are gradually disappearing from stores due to regulatory changes. The stock of characteristic flavored tobacco sticks may vary in individual National Tobacco Shops.
