The ban on the marketing of characteristic flavored heated tobacco products came into force in the European Union on November 23, 2022. At the same time, the Hungarian legislator enacted the new implementation rule for this ban on October 23, 2023, applying a transitional period for its enforcement.

Thus, it may happen that until the stocks are used up, characteristic flavored heated tobacco product will remain on the market. This means that characteristic flavored heated tobacco products may still be available on tobacco stores shelves for few months.
