How does IQOS ILUMA heat the SMARTCORE STICKS™?
The SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ in IQOS ILUMA and SMARTCORE STICKS™ completely reinvents the heating technology. This bladeless system features a metal heating element inside the stick, coated with stainless steel for the seamless heating. The result is an easier, cleaner and better experience.
IQOS ILUMA emits 95% less harmful chemicals compared to cigarettes.* Important information: It does not necessarily equal a 95% reduction in risk. IQOS is not risk-free.
IQOS ILUMA™ is designed to be used only with SMARTCORE STICKS™. Do not use IQOS ILUMA™ and SMARTCORE STICKS™ with previous IQOS™ generations, as this may cause damage to your device.
