Your IQOS ILUMA should automatically start heating when you insert a TEREA sticks. If not, try the following actions.
1. Check it’s a TEREA sticks. Your IQOS ILUMA device will only work with the new TEREA sticks.
2. Check the TEREA stick is correctly inserted. It’s the right way in, and pushed up to the filter line.
3. Check the IQOS app. See if Autostart has been accidentally deactivated.
4. Reset your device. Place your IQOS ILUMA holder in the pocket charger. Press the power button for 10 seconds until the lights go out. When the lights flash twice, you’ll know the reset is done. If your IQOS ILUMA holder starts without a TEREA stick, try the following actions.
- Reset your device as above.
- Turn off Autostart on the IQOS app. Remember – you can start the heating by pressing the button on your holder for 2 seconds. If the problem persists, get in touch with our Customer Care.
IQOS ILUMA devices are designed to be used with TEREA sticks only. Do not use IQOS ILUMA and/or TEREA sticks with previous IQOS generations, as this may damage your device. Do not ingest or disassemble TEREA sticks. This product contains a sharp metal part which can cause serious injury if swallowed. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
